I've done some art of Nidorina. Cause I'm a huge fan of Nidorina and I love her. My own one is name Poisarck. She's a thief and a treasure hunter. And I've waiting to make some art of her before contribute some of my works here, because, well there never enough art of Nidorina around the world.

An art trade with MetallicUmbrage (aka Kitty), and since I seem to be playing catch up with all Nido OCs who've at one point been on AB, it seems like doing one of Kitty is right on schedule. It's always fun for me to draw Nidorina, but I found something quite appealing about doing this one in particular. Now, Kitty likes to put up a tough front, but as you can see, she's starting break, and trying not to "daawww". Perhaps one day she'll turn these chicks into metalheads. I figured this pic would be just the right amount of cute without going too far.

An excuse to finally draw Lisa and Charlotte together (at last!), which side are you on? I was aiming to give them more "Nidorina" eyes, which for Lisa is nothing new, but for Charlotte, you can only take it so far before it breaks character design. That's the thing about trying to make any of the "Nido Plus" Nidorina look more in line with Sugimori designs. No matter what, faces still have to be the character's faces, and that actually goes for bodies too (so for example, Nidorina Schneider's always going to be a little shapely even in TPC design, otherwise you're breaking her character design :\).

Gee, 2006-2016 is a long time. A whole decade! Wow! Thanks Patrick, for being a constant fixture in cute Pokemon appreciation. I always drift back to this little haven every once in a while.

It's the battle of the bands. The competition is fierce and the talent is top notch. Who will come out on top and be the idol group to end all idol groups throughout the farthest reaches of the galaxy? Today, Vulpix, Chikorita and Charlotte's band Strawberry Milk Fantastic, an impressive group of young girls from Popstar, will square off against Joy, Chicolita and Clefairy's band Choco Gummi Yummy, one of the leading bands among young talent from the Pacific seas.

Everyone knows it's not enough to have musical and vocal chops, but you have to know how to put on a show. That bubblegum cute appeal draws crowds, but you better know how to work it. Maybe that's why Vulpix and Joy, the youngest of both groups, are the face of their bands. Both have the benefit of being adorable and fluffy, why do you think kittens are so popular? Vulpix has always dreamed of being an entertainer, but I wonder what Joy is getting out of this...

This was essentially inspired by this image, because it really reminded me of the kind of expression Joy would/has have/had. Likely because of her annoying sisters.

I made a re-vamp on my nidorina OC. She got through a rebel phase after a breakup. Also, Inktober. I recommend every fellow nido fan to participate!

Two happy Nido cooks, Arnie and Nidorina, who enjoy making food. The big difference is that Arnie does this for a living and tends towards making gourmet meats or otherwise fancy stuff. I designed the characters based off these ideas: Arnie = short and squat, and Nidorina = “child bearing cartoon mother”. Additionally, Nidoran male has a lot of points, so I sort of built him off of diamonds and sharp edges. Nidorina contrasts by having more curves, circles and rounded edges. The very first idea was more exaggerated and more rigid with shapes, but I wanted the characters to still look recognizable and not take it too far where they become an overstylized generic rabbit and some koala-mouse-rabbit (specifically aimed at Mrs. Nidorina) looking thing. I'd say the characters don't actually look like this (well, Arnie doesn't really).
