Mother's Day 2013

It's kind of like the card I bought my mom this year, at least kind of stylistically. Used markers, inking pens, and Photoshop to put it all together.

Talk about taking the minimal approach, but a Valentine's greeting that's fitting for our resident gamer nerd. I decided to go with MOTHER because I can't be bothered with Pokemon's old school sprite style. Also, no one who's older than high school aged is allowed to make any moves on Lisa, sickos.
Consolidation at its best. This is for everyone who feels like they just got settled into the Christmas spirit.
You can tell when the site owner isn't even trying anymore when s/he uses extras from a different series instead of the series proper that the site is based on. First official Halloween art from me. I figured "why the heck not?" I used some Castle Lololo enemies from Kirby's Dream Land specifically because (1) they're easy to draw, (2) they're not really scary, and (3) because technically this series takes place on Popstar anyway. Clockwise from Charlotte: Flapper, Broom Hatter, a fairly large Mr. P. Umpkin, and Skuller. I had another idea of Charlotte stirring Kine in a cauldron while DRJOE's Misdreavus floats overhead like a familiar, but it wasn't dynamic enough for my tastes.
Can you guess what the primary color for this piece is? :P This doubles as regular fan art, really.
GET HYPE. Now I never have to draw another holiday picture again.
A sort of spiritual successor of last year's Valentine's Cards. However, the trick this time was to not make up phrases based on a few characters, but to find and use legitimate phrases you can find on REAL CANDY, and make sure a character fits it, so it's slightly less gimmicky. And again, all these phrases can be found on real conversational hearts, even if the phrase is now discontinued or they didn't come from the Brach's/NECCO brand (some of them are from Bittersweets Conversational Hearts, for example).
I decided to dust off the old cast from Chibi's Corner (here's a refresher). There are characters I didn't include, sure, but that's irrelevant. I did, however, make sure to leave names this time.
Quick drawing for Valentine's day! Practicing drawing facial expressions.
I actually had this idea last year, but it wasn't as fleshed out, which is why I went with the shooting star theme instead. I kind of like these one panel comics. It's all I got the time for.
