Christmas 2015

This is not in lieu of something bigger for the season, nor is it a supplement. It just is. Have a safe and fun holiday from Aqua Bunny and some adorable blue things, the purple one included.

The apple that sucks the blood out of you! I thought of this right on Halloween eve so this is a very late idea, but you can thank checking out these huge gourmet dipped apples at a European grocery store. I looked at it and thought "a kid could lose a tooth on that", and here we are. There were quite a few flavors, perhaps I should buy one if they'll still be around.
Additionally, in the spirit of Halloween, check out the full size dimensions of this pic.
Unlike moms, I don't know if any dads visit Aqua Bunny. Probably too cute of a site, not enough Nidoking. Or the concept is too strange (meaning the point went over a lot of heads). But regardless of whether any dad's'll get the feels, the rest of us can enjoy these comics FOR our dads, and maybe even empathize with him. Or with someone else's. Or your friend or relative who might be a new dad. Or relatively new. All I know is, at Aqua Bunny, we care about everyone!
Now all that's left is for Nidorino to interact with Nina and he'll have a comic for all three biological kids. I guess Totodile still needs to have his moment, though.
Much like the cat being out of the bag for Didi, Dori Schneider has essentially been revealed already thanks to Dumb Big Sister, Stupid Little Sister (#dbssls on Tumblr :P), so that gives me cause to finally use a different character for Mother's Day. So far, Nidorina, Nidoran (from Poke Tales), Nidoqueen Nakamura, and even Charlotte have had Mother's Day art, so let's welcome Dori, hopefully the last of these because I can't keep making characters. In fairness, Nidorina's family clearly exists, so she's only new in the sense that the audience hasn't seen her before. Thanks for allowing Nini find her own path in life and letting her be herself, even if if that means she's doofy. That just means she's more entertaining at get togethers now that she's an adult!
I was going to just leave this on Tumblr, but I felt like 7 month old Nini Schneider was too scandalous to be lost so many pages deep. That baby picture is worth a million, so I'm putting it here so she never forgets.
I remember the days when our mom would have us dress up for Easter. Not my favorite part of the day, or the church service that felt like it dragged for ages, but I'll tell ya I loved the colored hard boiled eggs and candy! I'm still not exactly keen on dress shirts. Or ironing them. And ties, the working man's noose? No thanks. But enough about my editorial on dress clothes (and yes, even if I dislike them I'll still wear them where appropriate, I'm not a slob).
I thought this would be a cute idea, but I got lazy and tired of working on it. This is why group pictures need to be done days in advance, or with no deadline, because I have to take breaks from them. With that in mind, I like 2014's better, but it's nice to see the full extension of Nidorino's family, even if Chicolita and Eevee are only an adopted niece and nephew respectively. Time to go to Fern Garden to show it all off! Also, I like how Needles looks like he's going to mix me a drink, or deal some cards or something.
Ricky felt he should show some appreciation for his short buddy; I'd have to guess she appreciated the flowers and a gift, but didn't expect his gesture afterwards. :P
Even the smallest of gifts can mean a lot to those you love!
Now this is one I wanted to do. Instead of being loud and flashy, I just wanted to show the simple, at home experience with a very subdued, not-very-celebratory transition into the new year. Just a quiet evening with the TV down real low, and a few kids who get to rub in their elders' faces that they were able to stay up to midnight and that those "old guys" didn't. Of course, it's those same "old guys" that take care of them all the time, why do you think they're so tired?
I also enjoy how the daughters always look like they never know what the heck is going on in the world around them.
I don't know if this is true for all babies, but once my niece has her sights on something, she goes right after it and doesn't stop no matter how many times you move her away or even move/hide the object. That's essentially Diana right here. I can just imagine the moment right before now... "Oh honey, the baby's in the tree" "The baby's in the-?--WHOA!" Meanwhile, Nina's been sleeping underneath it and not a thing was said. Probably because she's finally quiet.
