If you ain't got that swing. This is my part of a full blown art trade with Patrick who draws very nice pokemon pictures, for my end of the trade he wanted me to draw his Nidorina as a fancey jazz singer. I was listening to Ella Fitzgerald for research, inspiration and then it switched to someone singing Mack the Knife "Ya know when that shark bites with his teeth, babe" and then I had to draw a Sharpedo in the back wailing on the sax, though I did a terrible job coloring his saxophone. Although I'm terrible at backgrounds I think this is one of my better ones to date.

Have a slightly-better-than doodle. Audino was one of those Pokemon I glanced over in Pokemon Y, but I watched the anime episode where it Mega Evolves and oh my goodness. I can’t say for certain but I’m sure I died, especially after seeing the heart on the bunny like footies. It might have topped Mawile and Kangaskhan as best Mega (I need to participate in a new Pokkedex(y)). Needless to say I need to give this Pokemon another look.

I figured Nidorina would want to be just as cute, even if Audino and Mega Evolution are anachronisms in this series. Just for fun, now I wonder what a unique “Mega Evolution” would look like on her, based on her personality (there’d be a heart motif no doubt). That or an Ash-Greninja deal. Maybe I’ll doodle something some day and see how much cute I can cram into her design. Or maybe someone else can take a stab at it if they want. Or maybe nothing will happen. Who knows what comes next on this crazy planet.

"Oh poop. Rinie, I've run out of sugar. D: Can you come give me some?" Nidorina is far from subtle, but at least we know the passion is there. Beyond Nidorino's surface level shyness, he's more than happy to oblige. He has what I'd call a kissably cute wife. You know the type, the ones husbands can't stop kissing on, even in public. Just be careful, Nidorino, once you start it's hard to stop!

Plain yogurt works just as well, and so does a plain white background.

If you gotta have something sweet, try something light like a parfait with a mix of fruit, nuts and or granola! Nidorina's enjoying a peach walnut parfait. And for the record, Nidorina's favorite fruit is and always has been peaches. The more you know.
