Ooo

I'd state that Nidorina's kind of adorable in her own way, but that's sort of the point. But even her mannerisms... I wonder what got her attention, especially being out all fancy like?

You can never be too careful. Besides, you wouldn't want that crystal shard to fall into the wrong hands!
Not the Eevee, Joy. Nidorina's children likely fill her heart with so much happiness when all's said and done. Nina's especially precious to her, too.

When Poke Legends ended, Johto Pokemon were the last to have existed and assimilated onto the island. When this pic was made, there's since been four more generations of Pokemon the islanders have never even heard of. The island denizens are very skittish about unidentified forms of life and the guardians are almost over protective. To put it into perspective, Poke Island as a whole just about lost its composure when Johto Pokemon started migrating in, panicking and jumping to the far out worst conclusions.
That said, I thought it'd be funny to imagine what would happen if Nidorina came across any Vanillite. She'd either believe the spirits of ice creams devoured have come back to haunt her, or that this is merely temptation from Ol' Scratch himself trying to sway her off the course of healthier eating. The Vanillite should be read as squeaky voiced hyperactive fast talking cute things.
Sort of continuing from one first Love to Keep Me Warm illustration. Inspired also by holiday music, as usual, and the fact that I tend to think of this family when Christmas time is near.
You know, years ago when I made the first Bun-Bun, or even earlier, this is the kind of art I would've paid for, commission wise. I'm glad I've finally reached this point. It's not overly detailed like Super Version BUN BUN, but just enough to probably pass on a site like Pixiv (that's all I ever wanted, really).
Like the original Bun-Bun, I wanted it to have that similar anime cuteness. And like all Bun-Buns, there's some extra doodles or whatever in the BG. This time, though, it's some slightly spruced up Nidorina comic bits from Poke Tales and/or Legends (the artwork's unchanged). If you can make them out, I betcha they make Nidorina look a bit cracked or unstable. :) Heh heh heh... yeeaaah. Also, Nidorino comes off as a total butthole. Don't you just love how things turn out out of context?
My VERY first picture that I have made for Aqua Bunny. It is Mrs. Nidorina, I used the old ‘how to draw guide’ to create this drawing of her. Hope everyone enjoys it. :)
So, it's that time again, and I decided to think bigger for this one, and since each picture of the Nidorina series is a kind of tribute, I made the background images of Nidorina historical, or just for fun. Each of the background images I drew new, nothing pulled from archives, and you probably already know I can emulate my old drawing styles. At the top, you have all the clearly defined old styles from 1999 to about 2006-ish (early Aqua Bunny/Late Creative Worlds). You can see that the earliest was clearly a misinterpretation of Sugimori's Nidorina made to be cuter, and honestly the closest to it (if I knew how to draw better). I thought Nidorina had a kind of lump for a horn, but it's just the angle the official art was drawn in. Later my own style started kicking in and this Nidorina officially had a small horn. The bottom's just fun drawings, including her personification. And in the middle is the centerpiece, Mrs. "Bun-Bun" herself in a cutesy Manga style. I love it.
