What do you get when what's essentially a Japanese tween, a little black girl and the product of mad science combine their imaginations with their love of music? No, the answer isn't Jem, wise guy. I'll tell you! It's not J-Pop, it's Strawberry Milk Fantastic, the band that's who's sugar sweet feel good music will spread across the cosmos and flow smoothly into your eardrums like honey! And maybe get stuck there, too.
I've been sitting on this idea for about 3, 4 years tops as of the time I finally illustrated it. Strawberry Milk Fantastic was going to cross universes, being a band between Charlotte and Lisa, but considering that Aqua Bunny had since opened up to include anything related to a series, I'm no longer forced to do Nidos for their own sake. Now it's self contained in one universe, although if SMF is recruiting, I'm sure I can bend the dimensions and include Lisa later on, considering she's twee enough to fit right in.

An art trade where the subject requested is set in my own universe? It's unprecedented, but I'll take it, afterall, know one knows more about this than I do! However, the request (or perhaps challenge, even) was to feature Kirby's Poke friends as opposed to Kine's, as long as Espeon and Umbreon were present. Espeon, being a bubbly airhead (and perhaps a little slow), is actually a pretty fun character. She probably saw the most airtime of all Kirby's eons if only because she was anything but a everyman you could insert yourself into (like Charlotte), allowing her to just be a full on cartoon character (again, like Charlotte). Also Pitch because this is Dream Land, dang it.
Nidoqueen and Nidorina may be good friends, but their ideas of what constitutes as “fun” may clash every now and then...
“Y’know, when you said we’re going on an adventure, I was thinking of something more....exciting.”
“But my dear, reading is quite an exciting adventure! You can never guess what you will find in the books! And you can find so many of them at this club!!”

Even a natural born businesswoman like Nidoqueen’s gotta have some sort of personal life. Turns out she’s a sucker for all sorts of cute things, including plushies! It probably goes without saying that actual Nido merchandise is a rarity and obviously a wonderful thing for Nido fans but just imagine how special they must be an actual Nido. Better keep that one safe, Nidoqueen, they don’t come along that often!
All of Kine's leading females were either taught or already knew at least Charm and Attract, except Charlotte, who only specializes in making things cease to exist. What's that you say? Little Vulpix too? Oh you better believe it (in her case, it's variations of the same move, but it's the youngsters you gotta look out for. They're the ones that specialize in using cute to game the system). As the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility, and I'm sure none of these upstanding citizens would dare abuse that power. Ok, so would you believe me if I said that only Nidoqueen's the responsible one? But I suppose you would tell me that was a given. The rest are manipulating their way in front of lines at the amusement park, and Charlotte is staring at everyone going around in the ferris wheel.
Even if you spend most of your day sitting, it's important to stay hydrated. It helps to keep your memory and motor skills sharp, and it also helps your heart pump blood so much more efficiently. Not to mention, it keeps you from some serious complications during hot weather (or any time of year, really). But please, don't drink the water you find in ponds and lakes.
I sure have been making a lot of food art lately. You know what needs to be done? A collaborative recipe book. :P But ah, a tasty Canadian dish for our favorite Canadian Ni... Oh noes. I don't have any Canadian Nidos! I better rewrite some character backgrounds. Um, uh, okay! Nidorino is now Canadian. That's right, Canada. He's YOUR problem now!

The entire Schneider family are something of sausage and smoked meat aficionados, thanks in part to living in a state park with all sorts of wild animals to prey on (well, it's either them or the Pokemon, and being sapient alone puts Pokemon much higher up on the food chain), paired up with their dad's smokehouse. Nidorina and Didi love hot dogs, so nostalgic! They'll eat any kind. Today, it's just a regular old beef chili dog. Nothing fancy like rattlesnake or boar or, their personal favorite, venison.
Nidorina's gotta channel that self expression and free spirit into something. Not everyone has hair or something worth stylizing, though, so Kine just gets a wig and Kirby gets his Wheel Ability hat. Nidoqueen gets a row of scales spiked and colored at the tips, complete with a prop wardrobe Nidorina likely has in a trunk somewhere for photoshoots. Ah, the life of a stylist.
