Another angle. Between the UFO catcher Nidoran and the special Pokemon Sewing Vulpix (and several other things I'm sure collectors can name), I feel like if it wasn't for the internet and an accessible global market, I'd be cheated. I can't imagine Pokemon Day (2/27/16 for the record) had anything more than Pikachus and starters/legendaries/Eev-eons to shill in the west, and Pokemoncenter.com? Forget about it. I guess it doesn't matter. I've not only collected my top three Pocket Mons, but probably the best (or only) versions they'll probably ever make. I've already completed the quest. Glad it happened in my lifetime. :P
