110,000, 500

When this pic was made, I had over 500 pics and 110,000 hits. Pretty nice still considering this is a Nido site. Ugh, basic Nidorina's arm looks strange. This picture includes a lot of characters who were around at the time. Assuming you already know which characters are mine, from the top left going clockwise there's Achikochi, Brett, Kagome, Puck and Fwoozles. Moffie is in the background being anti-social, Nidoking and Queen are furthest back because they're the most under represented on this site. Nidoran M & F fight because they constantly seem to tie with each other as far as art goes.

Aqua Bunny: 7th Year Anniversary

On December 13, 2013, Aqua Bunny lasted a whole seven years. And I'm feeling content. That's the minimum that anyone could ask for, really. Based on last years feedback and my need to take some action, there's at least been more basic Nido fanart with some effort attached to it. Lisa saw more action as a character, too. Possibly more than she's ever had since the Wii gif. Pokemon X and Y also released this year, which has resparked a slight interest in the series again. I wouldn't've stopped illustrating my favorite Pokemon either way, and I still prefer characters to blank-slate wild Pokemon, but now I have some new favorites, and new content will be coming next year because of this game, such as new articles for starters. Nidos may not have received Mega Evolutions, but whatever we did get, we should be grateful for!

Magic Pixie vs. Charlotte

This is for the most part an alternate story concept involving Aqua Bunny characters. In this story Pixie, your cuter than average Vulpix somehow gains magical powers. If you’d think she would be using them for childish and overall selfish things, well you’d be right. She does eventually learn to use her powers in more helpful ways and decides to travel the world. During her travels she comes in contact with Charlotte, a mysterious smaller and drearier than normal Nidorina, some might call her The Ultimate Lifeform. A play fight ensues, the kind of battle that would be hard to describe as a “play fight” if you where a mortal, like if kids were splashing in a pool but replace water droplets with meteors and houses.

Subtitles include: Shes Not the Opponent Shes The Wall /Mountain out of a Fox Girl/ Pixie’s Climb /Playing Gods /Ultimate Climax Danger Maximum

A Nidorina Too Many

Here it is, the infamous 12 Nidorina picture. These are Nidorina characters I have made over the years, though not necessarily up to date. That said, a portion of these characters are abandoned or irrelevant, now, but I do remember when this picture came up first in Google image searches. Ah, the late aughts. How good to me you were. Only 6 of these characters are of any importance anymore, and that gets reflected later in the Nido Plus artwork that'll come many years later.

Crazy Convention

So if the Nido chars went to some convention, who would they be? Pretty much everyone is either dressed according to a personality, or just because they're genuinely weird. Or because their mother put it on them. I don't watch anime, so I just generalized ideas, but here's the rundown:

  • Lisa and Tuff: Catgirls. They think it'll make them more attractive. HAH. Know any people like this?

  • Needles: Superman. Because mommy thought it looked cute. Dang, I can't help but smile every time I see this kid.

  • Diana: Frog. Oh, too cute.

  • Charlotte: Robot who also pilots mechas or something. Theres a lot of chicks like that in those series...

  • Totodile: Lucas. He's a momma's boy, too.

  • Nidorina Schneider: Bounty Hunter. If she wasn't so nice, I could see this being a real occupation.

  • Nidorino Eto: Magical Girl. Because he's touched in the head.

  • Mrs. Nidorina: French Maid. Can't say it doesn't fit, unless she bought it in a small. Try the shrimp, folks, I'm here all night.

  • Eevee: Detective. He always pretends to be one or some such, and he gives ("yucky") dames sass.

  • Mr. Nidorino: Dr. Black Jack (slightly). I dunno, but I figured girls would want Nidorino even more now.

Now, all this aside, I actually dislike conventions. It's really just too much. However, an excuse to play dress up is an excuse to play dress up. Character wise, mind.

Even I Smile More than You Do

It may or may not be true. Steph the Gallade is Kasedilla's character. This pic makes more sense if you knew about both characters.

Fun Pencil Doodles

Just some fun with a pencil and characters I love to draw. In between drawing other things and continuing to take my abilities up to another level (since I hate staleness), I tend to draw a page of Nidos. Stuff like this. And honestly? I don't draw much else fan art wise any more (unless necessary, but I hardly feel like doing it spontaneously, so I guess this would seriously be the perfect website for me then, right?). But I did have to buy a new sketchbook that I declared to be completely license free (meaning no fan art whatsoever). It's a means to keep me focused and from drifting into Nido country. Anyway, I still love this page of doodles. Cute and vintage-like, but (hopefully) not flat and angular. Flat designs are a no-no.

Fun Pencil Doodles 3

The hand drawn display fonts, first and foremost, I think are pretty neat for being drawn pretty quickly (not including "coloring"). But, here's even more fun than I could fit on a sheet of paper from the last two entries of pencil doodles. That Nidoking, by the by, is from the PI series. Also, flappers, despite looking somewhat classy in this day and age, aren't anything flattering. I do like how the kids don't have any idea what's going on (Eevee doesn't really know what's going on, but he knows what he's seeing). I dunno why I stick Nidorina into classic eras, but it doesn't hurt her any. I mean, unless she's dressed like this and it's National Camera Day. Think of the scandal. =P

Fun Pencil Doodles 4

More Nido doodles for those who can't get enough. Oh, sorry, I was speaking in front of the mirror again. If I knew about HGTV back in 1999-2002, Nidoran would've been all over that station. But I wonder if it was as popular now as it was then? Apparently, Charlotte's becoming too much of an individual these days, so how does one fix that? Why not build a toy robot lackey in her resemblance? Finally, what if the major Nido gals had to role play each other? Some fit like a glove, others are pretty laughable.
