Mother's Day is coming. Haven't done art of Bun-Bun in a while... I still need to edit the Multimedia page, and review those articles for typos and stuff. I haven't read them since I wrote them. Well, I'll get around to it all eventually, baby steps.

First, let's talk Tumblr. The Almost Daily Gallery been getting a bit more active lately, which I enjoy, but I'm not one to count chickens before they hatch. However, one thing that's been brought to my attention is doing an "ask so-and-so" routine, which not only sounds fun, but I've seen a few too, and they look like something I can really get behind. Would you be intrested? Check this out for more, and let me know. Cool?

MAIL/SUBMIT: Altered Submission Guidelines, as there are new exceptions. It was already an unofficial change I spoke with some people about, but now I'm making it 100% official.
FAN ART: Nidoran Male and Alternate Universe updated. New policy already in effect.
MULTIMEDIA: Animated Movies updated. Also, link to Minimalist Valentine's changed. I'll need to update this entire page's layout for next time. (PS: Turn HD on for the Vimeo videos, guys).

There's a lot of maintenence I have to do, still, and the animation treat I'll hopefully have done sooner than later (Rain was an experimental time killer while I was away from my main computer). I'm hoping it's back to the usual irregular scheduling from here on. Shooting for every other Sunday again, but no fingers crossed! :)

Horrible sense of humor aside, a lot of stuff done and to do, more in a technical sense. First, my yearly analysis is not located in the fan art, because it's important enough to get a temporary page, found in the link above. Secondly, here's what's updated:

FAN ART: Others, Gijinka, and Event updated.
UNION: General maintenance. Some sites are gone, some might just be down (weird considering one JUST joined), and some others I'm holding on to for archival's sake if it hasn't been updated in forever.
MAIL/SUBMIT: Nothing, but I'm looking for mailer replacements. :P Still haven't found anything good...

Secondly, I've found the submission form isn't working anymore via word of mouth and my own testing. Actually, it's been acting funny for a while, so I'd say if you've submitted anything between now and back in August, or if you want to submit something, attach the file along with a title and description and send it to patkdeb[@]gmail.com (remember to remove the brackets). When I'm "live" again, I'll see what I can do to fix the mailer, or just update to a new system entirely.

Finally, once I'm connected to the internet, I'm going to go through the UNION and do a little maintenence to fix broken links and check to see if sites are still running.

UNION: Nidoran Pokefun added to the union. As a head's up, the site is in German, but there may be an English version soon. Also, the site should be returning from hiatus shortly. You know, I'm actually excited that there's another Nidoran site, it brings me back to the Nidoran Fan Page days. Check it out, even if you have to run it through Google Translate.

PHOTO: Spore has been changed into Other Games, because honestly who still plays Spore? And furthermore I need the space. There's some new screenshots here in Other Games, and for anybody else who feels like Nido-ing up their non Pokemon games (or any Poke character that's prominent on AB, I'm not so strict anymore), this is where submissions of such'll be displayed (so it's like World Tour, except digital).

And now for something stupid...

That's it. Feels great to get an update in on time, and a week after the last to boot. Huh, I think this is the first time everything under the Gallery navigation category was updated at the same time.

(Get ready for the worst segue in history) And since everything in AU takes place for the most part in Dream Land, I thought I'd bring up that Kirby's Dream Collection is now available. Basically, it's the era of Kirby I grew up with and still base him around (hah, the next set of strips jokes on that). Here's hoping it gets plenty of buyers and persuades HAL into bringing back the animal friends. I want to see more playable Rick, Kine and Coo and less playable Waddle Dee, Dedede and Meta Knight. Not necessarily because they're "better", but maybe better suited.

Why would Kirby put any trust in his frienemies? Dedede could've had Waddle Dee stab Kirby in the back while he slept and that would've been the end of it. Meta Knight's the kind of guy that'll never shoot you in the back, so I wouldn't worry about that scenario so much. As for Nago, Pitch and Chuchu? Eh, I can take 'em or leave 'em. Gooey should come back too, though. Anyway, if you're interested in it, grab it at least for Dream Land 2 (rewardingly challenging) and 3 (beautiful game with artistic liberties all over). I own each of these games individually, as well as the systems (except NES). All of them still work, but I'm still getting this for the collectable book (and the hope that maybe it'll do for big three animal pals what the anime did for Meta Knight. Let me dream). Now, if only Star Stacker were included, because I'm sick of having to point out that Kirby spoke paragraphs way back in 1997 (God, why did that show have to come out...?). In fact, I'd rather they made a collection of the spin offs. There's more fun in Dream Course's 2 Player mode alone than all six of Dream Collections games put together.

COMICS: Alternate Universe: She's One of a Kind, Kine updated.

In the PHOTOs section, I've created a new gallery called Mixed Nuts. It's a sequence of photos told from AU Nidorina's point of view that includes her family and friends. It doubles as a generic photo gallery of stuff you could find online, though her commentary keeps it on track for Aqua Bunny. There are some very slight spoilers ahead, Mixed Nuts assumes She's One Of A Kind, Kine has been completed. However, maybe this'll add more intrigue to how that collection will wrap up (for the record, I've already written every story the collection will have, which is how I'm able to jump this far ahead).

You should check it out if only for the novelty, you'll definately think I've gone off the deep end with some of the shots I've taken. It has it's own page to improve load times, and because I may end up doing another. With that:

While I work behind the scenes on other stuff like Rhythmic Pop'n full version and the toons that were meant for last year, I'll try to keep this site updated regularly with SOOAK, Kine pages. Either weekly or a more dependable bi-weekly. Mostly because I really want to get to those new stories at the end. :D They're kind of sweet (as in endearing), actually, and are probably the most down to earth the series has ever been (side effect of getting older). You know, stuff I want to end the comics off on. So look forward as I push on through.

Also, I gotta get through that before I make changes to the whole format of the Bios page. It may not be so Nido centered anymore, and'll probably become as detailed as the ARTICLES themselves, cause the official "Word of god" (TvTropes def.) sure isn't giving me anything else to write about! Speaking of, remember that you can submit articles if you've speculated about Nidos in ways I haven't. But I don't think I have anything else to say on the matter.
