Alternate Universe is Back For One More Round

Did I type Tuesday? I meant Thursday. You know, I've often said those 'T' days are confusing. But anyway, if there's one thing I learned, it's that it's never the given task that takes the longest time (animate this character, create this level, draw this strip, etc), it's the mother-lovin' post production and packaging phase that kills. And I'm STILL not done. So check it.

COMICS: Alternate Universe: She's One of a Kind, Kine has been uploaded. It's also the last one I'm doing. So enjoy it while it lasts. For those who are unfamilar with how to get to this, click on COMICS, then the AU star. It's the 4th gallery. I'm going to be making quiet updates to it such as adding all the pages I've created so far, the banner and the cover. It should all be done by Sunday, and that's a generous amount of time THIS time.
FAN ART: Others updated as well. Sort of related, you'll just have to see it for yourself.

The moral of the story is that when it takes me forever to update within some time frame, it's for a good reason. The other moral is that post-production blows (that's a horrible, horrible moral).

Happy Passover Sunday/Easter. I must say, I'm a genius. And I don't throw that term around lightly but I've finally made a holiday picture that wipes them all out in one shot, and you know there's some truth in it (from a child's perspective, especially). But to get serious, there's a bit more artwork, including another wallpaper-esque character bit as probably expected. It only took a few weeks for me to trump Radio-2012. Sad. I'll have the wallpapers up later today or tomorrow, right now let me get these pics up.

Or midnight Monday. Whatevs. I wanted to move forward with some wallpaper sized character Nidos, but I'm not really in love with this one, despite the fact that a lot more obvious effort went into it. I dunno. I probably just don't care for the fact that it's not abstract like Reidyo-Ri Two-Twelve. Check out the gallery version, and let me know if you think it's worth making wallpapers with. Just a few things this time, including an update to a section that hasn't seen an update in a long while.

PHOTO: Paraphernalia, well, you'll just have to see.
CHARACTER BIOS sees two new additions, which by logical deduction of recent events, you can probably venture a guess as to who to expect. I may make some changes to this page later, including the artwork, seeing as I design characters more by personality plus personal style than "close to official model" these days. I'll keep the old stuff, though.

But anyway, that's all for now. I may update next week, but as always, don't exactly count on it.

A Nidorina and Her Music

Or Tuesday. It's all good. Who loves Nidorina? I know I do. No, not her. Not even her...this time. But who are we kidding? Everyone who counts loves Nidorina! And she's pretty central to the update. Everything today revolves around her affinity for good music and the escapism effects therein.

FAN ART: Alternate Universe updated. I really like this one. I'll come back to that thought.
MEDIA: Animated Gifs updated with Oblivious Headphone Girl 1 & 2. Have you ever seen (live or in a video) a girl who just "dances" (or just wiggles or something) in public without any regard to how she must look to other people, because the music is just that good? Watch as Nidorina moves around like an idiot, not giving one you-know-what. But we love her because she's cute like that.
DOWNLOADABLES: Wallpapers updated with different sizes of today's fan art. I'm not one who uses their own artwork as wallpaper. In fact, the last time I did this was with Bun-Bun back in '08 ( I know you're all tired of hearing about that picture). For a long time it's just been a nice picture of Chicago), but looks like I've got a new wallpaper. At least until I put the Chicago one back on. So now you too can wake up and see Nidorina's ~~stupid~~ pretty face everyday. :D Should I do more character wallpapers? I've always been suspect of the idea, but considering where all my effort goes anyway...

Late to the Pop'n Party

Yeech. Sorry for the long delay, but I didn't want to update until I got the next version of the Rhythmic Pop'n Demo finished, and it took a long time because these last two songs had some rather annoying charts to create. That said, I believe this will be the last demo, and on top of that, I don't plan to keep it on the site for long. I may have it up for about a month, but after that, I'm removing it and you'll have to wait for the final. So as the saying goes, get it while it's hot!

GAMES: Rhythmic Pop'n Demo updated with version 4. The two extra songs are pretty tough, so...

Yeah, maybe I'll update this Sunday as well to make up for lost time. Maybe.

It's a holiday, and you know that means there's an update. I'm sure Pokemon's the first thing you think of when a holiday arrives, yes, but it's always nice to see what things the day brings. This update returns to the basics, considering I haven't had much opportunity to work towards the next demo. However, what time I did have I (unnecessarily) spent on some fan art, which we haven't had in a while from anyone. Of course, if you're interested in the direction I've been going in my artwork anyway, then you'll like these. One of these days I should make a generic art blog for myself to upload stuff, but who has the time? Plus, I'll admit it, I hate updating anything. Less fun than house cleaning.

Okay, I've made somewhat substantial changes to the Rhythmic Pop'n Demo. For starters, it's now an executable (one that actually works). This might be a problem with Mac users though. Well, enough talk here, check out the RPDemo page for the full updates. Anyone who's tried the first, I'd encourage you to try this one out, as it should hopefully prove a better experience.

Aqua Bunny Presents: Rhythmic Pop'n...Demo!

Well, it took a while for me to get this public announcment up (and I've got a few legitimate excuses for which, coupled with some lame ones such as "I was just too tired" one of the past days). But anyway, who likes games (for Christmas :P)? Especially games that aren't just time wasters, and are free? Well, ladies and gents, I give you Rhythmic Pop'n...Demo (I'd love to know how many of you who aren't on the newsletter saw this game coming).

Okay, so the demo is sort of a time waster because it's just that. A demo meant to retrive feedback, but this is for your benefit, so your participation is key for the final version of the game! This project spent a very long time in development, so at least humor me here.

Anyway, it's not all I wanted to get done for AB in 2011, but it was one of the more substantial things, so I'm glad to have made this much available to you. However, this demo is a limited time release, so let's not waste it. 2011 is wrapping up! You can get to the temporary page by clicking on the tentative box art in GAMES, or by just clicking here for now. In the meantime, I'll be making updates to this demo, so check this page often (but not too often, obviously. I can't work on this 24/7).

Aqua Bunny's 5th Year

So it's now been another year since Aqua Bunny's been online, meaning Aqua Bunny has now entered its fifth year. Can you belive a site about Nidoran and what have you has been around this long? As usual, my thoughts about it can be found with the image. Definately pertains to what'll happen during the rest of the month.
