Beware of angry comments. Anyway, I dislike this commercial. Or any commercial with the sophisticated modern woman and the neanderthal who can't tell his head from his arse. So very tired of them. What the heck happened to all the men in America? Nevertheless, for some reason it was on my mind, and a gag similar to this came up. This isn't a "Take That" towards the commercial (it doesn't bother me that much), but more of a cute sincerity that would come from Nidorina. Done with cool grey Prismacolors and inking pens (I love these items).

You know, she hates being called porky, but this sure isn't helping. At the time, I had just had some carrot cake when I made this. That's a dangerous cake. If you buy the right kind, it blows your mind. However, you can mistakenly get the kind that tastes like baked puke.

It's one of life's mysteries. She could eat for five and never get any bigger. Nidoran appears dumbfounded, surely that cake would've put her over, but nope, same girth. How does she do it?

Named after the Earthworm Jim stage, "Level 5". Guess what? That game is hot, too. Anyway, Nidoran tunes into Maury to show Nidorina what not to become... a person on the Maury show. Oh, and obese. Or even fat. They love their Nidorina round like the Pillsbury Doughboy, she should try to stay that way.

With that, Nidorina decided to do some television aerobics. Despite being stubby by nature, making this harder than it should be, Nidorina's a bit more peeved about having to eat such an unsubstantial meal. Diana mimics mommy, and seemingly has an easier time with this. All's going swimmingly, right?

Yeah, Nidoran's peeved. That's time off her schedule she didn't have to spend baking all these cakes for her friend. Nidorina WILL eat these if she has to puree them and stick a funnel into Nidorina's mouth. Isn't force feeding wrong, though? Why am I asking? Dumb question, nevermind.

15 lbs. of bacon? Yeah, that's over the top. Why not just shove a whole pig down her gullet? The best part's in the back, after all.

The wonders of fictional magic. No explanations necessary, no bacon either. Just a high suspension of disbelief and going into my works knowing that I don't like being serious. Everyone rejoices, even the forest creatures who don't have to go into hiding from the She-Hulk anymore.

Hah, I like both Parasect and Nidorino. He obviously loves women with a bit of meat on them. Then again, he's kind of skinny, opposites attract, [write your own cliche here].

Sitcommy to the max. You can just hear the canned laughter and circus outro music play. So Parasect becomes Mr. Universe after only three pumps, except this time, no one was quite prepared for what they were now witnessing. Guess they weren't very well adjusted. Ain't enough cake in the world to save this guy.

Nidorina is cute here. One thing to note is some model inconsistencies. Sometimes Nidorino has six spikes ala the Red/Green Sugimori art, sometimes he has his standard five. Sometimes Nidoran has a tail, sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes she has some actual anatomy (! Find her in Celadon, for example), sometimes she's just in blob form like the anime. I won't even get started on how Nidorina changes all the time. Anyway, take the best pics where you can get them, I say.

This is the cutest version of Eevee I've seen, I think it's because his head is fatter with the cheek instead of thinner, and the eyes are rounder and not straight up parallel and symmetrical (which is a total yawn), not to mention shorter compared to later versions. I also think I like this one because he looks like the adopted one from Poke Tales ("of course he does, Pat 9_9").

I like this one, mostly the first two pics. Nidorina is geniunely upset about having to be one of Nidorino's Aqua Bunny Girls just to participate. If this was animated, I'd really drive this part home with the emotions and the gestures of both characters.
