~* Crane Crazy Overview *~

Crane Crazy is an online game created using actionscript and Flash MX. I made this game to further give Aqua Bunny uniqueness/exclusiveness, on top of yet again showing what one crazy Nido fan will do. I don't know too many Eevee (example) fansites that would go to this length...

The game's source of inspiration comes from both Kirby's Adventure and Kirby's Star Stacker/kirakira Kids. Much like I want my flash animations to be more TV quality and less tween-layer-flashy awkwardness, I wanted this game to feel more like a video game and less like the typical flash game. If nothing else, I'm quite happy with that result.

One thing's for certain, I'll never underestimate the time it takes to code even the simplest concepts again. I'd say about 70% of the game's code is mine (shocking, I know, considering I can't code my way out of a paper bag), and the other 30% is outside help and sources/tutorials. It may not have come out the way I expected 100%, but I'm satisfied with what's available, considering this is my first actionscript game.

Even after completion, I found myself a little addicted to playing (usually I don't want to see the game anymore). Challenge Game would be my favorite mode. Just the right amount of speed and factors that keep it lively without being broken-easy like the first mode, or frustrating like the last.

Those are the details. I hope you will enjoy playing it.

~* A Note on High Scores*~

Originally, the game was supposed to have a high score table, but that would require PHP and SQL and a whole lot of other junk, and I'm already trying to learn way too many languages. I can't take much more.

This being said, if anyone wants to be of service, you could clue me in as to how to make such a database and be able to both read and write scores (emphasis on READ, not many places tell you how to do that), then perhaps I'll update this game later with said table.

As of now, I suppose you can compare scores with friends/within a community/something. Or send it to me if you feel like it (a screenshot would be nice). Make an event of it!

Read everything? Good.
